It's good to find OH - how wonderful it's been to read stories about people who TRULY understand this battle and the toll it takes.
I have all my pre-lim stuff in place (psych. eval., nutritionist meeting, info. seminar, 1st surgeons visit). I've also been in close contact with my insurance company. I am currently working with a Nurse Case Manager who has been a very big help. My 6 month PCP diet will finish the middle of March. Due to personal committments, I will probably not be able to do the surgery until the end of April
. I am also co-ordinating with an OB/GYN in the area to have a tubal ligation at the same time. Hey, if I'm going to go under anesthesia, I might as well kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
I'm excited and ready for this new chapter in my life. After months of prayer and research, the Lord answered me with regards to His Will for my life. It brough peace and comfort, along with a steadfast and confident decision to move on with this WLS and Journey.
I am really looking forward to being healthy and strong to better Serve My Lord and my household!!
