I'm a mother of 2 wonderful kids. A girl and a boy. I have a wonderful husband. I enjoy reading romance novels, music, singing, watching movies, chatting online and spending time with my family. I'm very glad I made the decision to have this surgery. I do have hard times...but in the end, I know its all going to be worth it. I'll be able to spend better quality time with my kids and I'll be much healthier.
It's now been about 3 1/2 years since the surgery and I've lost 180 lbs. I had a tummy tuck in May of 06 and have done very well. I'm trying to get insurance appoval for the removal of excess skin from my legs, but they keep denying me, saying it's not medically necessary. But I'm not giving up. I'm very happy with my progress. I know people lose at different rates therefore I'm trying not to compare myself to others that have lost more than me.
