"My first impression of Dr. Garber was he was to the point and kind. He let me know what to expect with the surgery and answered all questions that we had. He took a great interest in my previous problem with a blood clot I had in my lungs after a prior surgery. He suggested that before my surgery he would have a filter put in to catch any clots that may form from this surgery. I thought it was great he was thinking ahead and wanting to catch any problems that may arise. He was very suportived in my decision to have this surgery. His office staff have been great too. His secretary, Linda, has been very helpful and kind. I think Dr. Garber is a very skillful and knowledgeable surgeon and would recommend him to anyone that is looking into this surgery. He asks how you are doing, gives you the information you need at that stage of surgery and askes if you have any concerns and questions. Personally, I would rather have a surgeon that is more interested in telling you what you need to know than one that tries to be too funny or humorous. Therefore...I'd rate Dr. Garber overall as a great surgeon to go to for this surgery."
