I have battled the weight problem my entire life. Prior to surgery I lost over 100 pounds 3 times only to gradually gain it all back plus a few friends each time. I look for my new tool to be the ticket to keep it off this time. Had RNY on 3/17/08 and everything went very well. I have been blessed with a smooth recovery and no real issues. I lost 53 pounds in the 2 months prior to surgery which helped a lot with the whole process. I am now 10 weeks post-surgery and have lost a total of 117 pounds. More importantly, I am feeling great!
