Happy Surgiversary to Me!

Well, It's been 3 years now and I'm down to 112 pounds from 225. I feel great! I never thought I could be a size 4!!!!! I've only had one thing go wrong since Dec 2009, which was a blocked intestine Dec 17, 2011. Of course, that was pretty major, because when I got to St Thomas Hospital and they figured out what was wrong with me, they sent me in an ambulance immediately to Centennial to see Dr. Houston where I had emergency surgery. They told me at St Thomas that I was very lucky I didn't wait any longer, because I could have died. Dr Houston and his team were great! I haven't had any problems since and I hope I never had to go through that again. I don't regret having the surgery even though this happened. I would do it again if I had to. I was miserable being heavy. Life is good and I thank God every day for the blessings I have. I applaud Dr Houston and his staff for being there to help people like me.
