I can't believe I'm almost 6 months in. This is nuts. I'm sitting here with a tummy really pissed at me for eating too quickly (I had an egg and 3 pieces of turkey bacon and ate it all in like 15 minutes - DUMB!) and cannot get over how that would have barely qualified as a snack 6 months ago.
I'm officially down 80 lbs as of today's weigh in. I started at 294 and am today at 214. Exactly half-way to goal. I have a long way to go :P I cannot express the difference in how I feel/think/live. I am always evaluating how I could tweak things just a bit to get more out of my life. How to change things up to get a little more exercise, more movement, more enjoyment. I'm so happy I can't see straight - seriously. HAPPY.

So I'm exactly 2 weeks from my surgery date. This is all happening so incredibly fast - it's odd after having waiting so long. My preparations are minimal at best so far. There's so much I need to do - so much I need to plan for, and I'm trying to keep it all straight in my head.
I'm doing Jazzercise 3x/week with my niece - she's really enjoying it, and I'm hoping the ab work will help for the surgery. So far the pre-op diet is also going well. Planning seems to be the most important part.
I'm addicted to youtube and these boards - I'm hoping that's a good thing that will help me stay focused in the long run. Anyway, time to go!

Well all my pre-op stuff is done. I have met with the Psychologist, had blood drawn, completed my mandatory medically supervised weight loss, and met with my surgeon. I've been at this since August. Now I have to wait.
The surgeon's office said they submitted to my insurance last Thursday, and that I'm not supposed to harass them for 2 weeks. Ack. I am not generally a patient person. So I'm waiting....
