Well I went in this am and got my band. The doctor was running behind a little and boy I think I must be allergic to anesthesia. It make me sleepy LOL. I was pretty sleepy and it took a while like 1.5 hours to wake up. Then driving home in the evening traffic I got home at 6pm. I am not feeling too bad a little sore of course but better than I thought I would be. I slept a little while in the chair but have been up and moving periodically. The gas is the worst part, making sure that it moves and doesn't get stuck anywhere. I am not hungry really but dry mouth like crazy from the anesthesia. It is hard to keep sipping. I feel kind of full. Well definately do not want dehydration. Well all in all it was a pretty good day. I have extra pillows on the bed to prop up tonight and see how that works. Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes. This is the first day of the rest of my un-obese life. Think I am going to go to bed shortly and sleep off the rest of the meds. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE PRAYERS. Just continue to pray for me.

A little bummed out!!!

I got a call today from Sherry at Dr. Gersins office, she said we had to change my surgery date to two days later than previously scheduled. It is now Thursday June 4th @ 11:30am instead of June 2 @ 7:30am. I was looking forward to Tuesday, made arrangements at work and for child care and everything else. Oh well things happen for a reason. I just have to trust in God. I just really hate now that I have another TWO days of Liquids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well anyway. Just have to deal with it. It is then or wait until July. I think I'll deal with it.
