Susan, I have read your profile and I am terribly sorry for all the chaos with your insurance companies. I pray you get the surgery you deserve and you become a wonderful loser! Thank you on behalf of obese people everywhere for taking the time to make a difference for us all. Not a federal matter huh? Then pray tell why is the majority of America overweight? I pray that people open their eyes soon and decide to do something before more wonderful people die before getting the help they deserve. Susan I just read your story I am so sorry about all your bad luck,but just hang in there I have a very good feeling things are going to work out for you,I am going to say a prayer for you,I went to my Family Dr. and he sent me to a sergeon I am too going to try to have this surgery I am so unhappy,I had to see a psychologist,also seeing a nutritionist on monday 8-25-03 I called my ins co. they said they do cover it if I need it,so its all up to the drs. right now I am 5ft.1in and weight 223 and just keep gaining I want this so bad to so I hope everything works out for both of us,so keep your sprits up and hang in there,this is my first time on here writing to anyone hope you get this not real good with a pc hehe, but had to send this to you, see I'm having medical problems too.Debbie Thomas

Susan - so sorry to hear about your denial. BUT DON"T GIVE UP! Keep the dream alive! Check with your husband's employer to see if they can intervene or if there are anyother options. Or, take up the offer of the attorney and see if there is anyway he can get involved. Just continue to fight. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!

HI Susan- regarding your post about what to bring to the hospital: I searched the library on this website and used the word, "hospital". I was able to make a huge list from the answers I found there. You may also want to search on "tongs" for the self-cleaning part. GOOD LUCK!
