Sandra, Hang in there hon. Things will get better. It really is the best thing to look out for your health. I will keep you in my prayers. Well, I went for pre-op testing yesterday, and was passing all the test with flying colors, that is, until...THEY GOT TO MY BLOOD PRESSURE!!! It was off the charts at 160 over 110. OMG, needless to say surgery has been cancelled for 10/21/03. This whole thing is the pits and I am so ready to give up. I went to my doc and he prescribed me some Verapemil. I think I will just disappear for a while and crawl off into a hole somewhere. I am truely at my wits end.

I hope and pray you have a speedy recovery. There will be so much activity that you want have time to worry, everything gonna be fine you'll see. You will have improve health and be happy with your weight lost.

Thanks so much for the kind emails and post to my surgery page, you don't know how good it makes me feel to come here and read, can't wait for surgery on 10/21/03. I am going to print it out and take it to the hospital with me! God bless all where ever you are in your journey! Sandra

Sandra, We will be having surgery the same day. I will be having my surgery in Lubbock. It won't be long until we are both on the losing side. I wish you an uneventful surgery and a very speedy recovery. God Bless

Hello Sandra, We're almost there. Our day is finally and fast approaching. Before you know it we'll be on the losing side. We'll look back and blink and wonder, "Why was I feeling that way?" Because it will be worth all the indecisive thinking, all the negative comments from others along the way, all the fears and tears throughtout the years. Being a loser will not feel as good as it does now. May God continue to bless you for the duration of this journey. Hugs!
