Well I have been on this journey since October 2003 when I was first diagnosed with PCOS and my obgyn suggested having gastric bypass surgery....then I was sent to different doctors who all suggested the same thing....I have gone to 4 different surgeons over the past few years and had to change them because of insurance problems....now I have finally picked one and I am scheduled for the surgery this coming week....I am looking forward to it but also have a some fear....I have had many struggles in the journey to having this surgery and I feel like Ive come so far and I just want to have it over with and get myself on the losing side of life....Ill keep updating through my adventure....
