So, I am a bit blue today. I had the opportunity to have my sleep study done last Thursday, which I did. Apparently I slept well enough that they didn't have to come in and set me up with CPAP - which means I probably don't have sleep apnea - which probably means I won't be approved for WLS from an insurance perspective. The technicians who perform the tests can't tell you anything.. they just collect the test results and give them to the doctors. So, I'm almost convinced that the one co-morbidity I thought I had, that would persuade my insurance to cover WLS, won't pan out. I guess this is a bittersweet time for me.<p>Thank you to the wonderful people on this site who have written to me, and offered words of support. And I wish all of you success, health and long, happy lives.
