Kathy, this is a journey that often has you questioning a lot of things in your life and it is okay. It shows that you know that there are serious consequences to what we are choosing to do. It truly is life changing. Not just in the fact that you are having weight loss surgery, but that you are severing that tie with food. We have to learn how to eat healthy and know when to say that we have had enough. I have moments when I wonder how am I going to do this, and I think that I will not be able to have the things that I really like. But being four months out, I know that I can have the things that I like, just in a much smaller amount. It is learning how to listen to our new tummies that is the key. Like Dr. Patterson will tell you, she operates on our tummies not our heads. I am still figuring out that one. But I have to say that this has been a great change for me. I would do it again. You saw me at the restaurant. I did not look like I felt deprived of anything. I love this new life. I know that you will too. Counting down the days until I can take out my angel wings again! Hugs and have a great day!
