My name is Tamra, 27 from the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have been heavy my entire life. I had accepted this would never change until I ran into an old highschool friend who had the gastric bypass. SHE WAS SKINNY!! I asked her what the hell diet she did, and that's when she told me about the surgery.
After much research I had my Dr send a referral to the Richmond CA Kaiser where some of the best surgeons are preforming.
After classes, meetings, and having to loose 35 lbs pre-band (Required weight loss first varies per patient) I finally hit my goal, and surgery was scheduled for 1/20/2010. I am having the Lap-Band.
