Post Op Update

 So here I am once more. Today I am feeling ok just a bit out of wack lol! I went to my 2wk post op visit. And Dr. Bhoyrul told me that I bruised my surgical site.....OUCH! Figures that is what the pain was all about. He told me to put Icy Hot on the areas around the incisons and I must say it has been like 4 or 5 days since and its working I don't feel as bad as before! I did not do it intentionally my son was chocking on a cheese stick and I had to perform the hemilich manuever on him. I was SOOOOOOO freaked out! And I know you are think you cannot do that in your state of recovery. But I had to do it. The hubster was asleep and dead to the world as he had worked a double that day. 

On somewhat of a brighter but questionable note. Dr. Bhoyrul told me that I was losing a pound a day. Strange I thought but nothing to worry about thus far he stated to me. Its just my body adjusting to all this non-yummy food lmao!

So I am on pureed foods.....its ho-hum and pretty tired of the chicken and tuna salads pureed. So I came upon eggfaces blog!!! Whoo-hoo!!!! She has some awesome recipes and I am dying to make a lot of them!

I wish I would have stumbled upon them sooner! What a relief it is to me as I have no idea how to make anythign any more!
