hey sara, we're so much the same...i had an umbilical hernia myself. he repaired that too. made it sound ilke not a big deal and i asked how i probably got it..he said most likely born with it. i agree with you, this is PAIN!! i didn't have to bring home oxygen, but i slept with it in the hospital. the doc only gave me 1 drug to come home while i had 2 in there. my god it hurts! he said i could also take liquid tylenol....aparently the stores don't stock that anymore for adults, so im taking 12.5 dropper fulls of infant...craziness! anyhow, keeping this short. hurts to sit here. i also stayed an extra day..not that there was a problem, but i had not passed gas...silly, but ok, somoene doting on me another day, i'll take it. lol glad you're home and doing well too. we're officially in the loser's bench! :) tracy

Hi, are you okay. I got home yesterday afternoon. I came home with oxygen. Dr. Stay because of my pain I am not breathing deep. He also repaired my hernia, so I had a double dose. Let me know your okay. Speedy Recovery. Sara

hey there, well, i've lied, i'm up to nervous now. i've been feeling quite nauseous the last few hours and the thought of eating anything is killing me. i just want to sleep, but if i sleep now there is NO WAY i'll sleep tonight and i want to sleep as much as i can tonight. i think what made it more real is i dropped off all of my recovery stuff at my friend's house a bit ago and then too, my dog to my sister's house. now it's all official. this too, shall pass, and in a good way. talk to you soon, tracy
