Hello, I am 34 yrs old married, and have 3 beautiful daughters ages 17, 13 & 5. I have been overweight every since getting pregnant with my first child and have had many weight loss successes that ultimately ended in failure 
. I am starting my Lap-Band Journey at my highest weight of 270 lbs. at 5'2'' tall.
I have had high blood pressure every since having my oldest daughter and was placed on meds about 10 years ago. I am borderline diabetic though I'm sure if I actually followed through with my family Dr. he would have placed me on something by now. I haven't seen him since January when every test he did on me came back being elevated due to my weight so I began seeing Dr. Mobley and have committed myself to getting the Lap Band. I am scheduled for surgery on 7/16/10 so long as I can stick to this 2 week pre-op diet that I am currently on day 4 of and really struggling terribly with temptations I must admit 
. I have read so many success stories on here though 
and it gives me such hope that I TO can and will do this!
