18 days/6 working days UNITL SURGERY

I just realized that I only have "6" working days left until surgery. I am tickled pink. I will be off Monday for Veterans Day, Tuesday I will be getting more test done and attending a workshop in Baltimore and Friday of that week I'm off. The following week, I will off most of the day Monday for my last meeting with the doctor before surgery, then we are OFF on thursday for Thanksgiving Day! (guess I better eat good that day) 
Then one more day that week before surgery.
I am tickled pink. I've been at work today looking at this new Victoria Secrets book that my officemate (size 4) brought in. I can't wait. I swear to go I will be BANKRUPT after surgery. My a** is sure enough going to be hitting all those stores that i use to be able to go into. I just uploaded a pic of me before STRESS, MARRIAGE/DIVORCE. As a matter of fact I think I still have that white skirt.

25 days to go, and belive me I am counting down. I can't wait!!!!!!
At this point I have nothing but positive thoughts. By next summer I will be walking around in my little tanks and shorts.YIPPEEEE!!!!!

Okay it looks like everything is finally starting to come along. I am a little disappointed that I had originally gotten a date for surgery of November 6th, and now it looks like its going to be the 27th. Not to bad huh? I guess I get to stuff myself at Thanksgiving, it might offically be my "last supper" :)
I got my dates for the reminder of my testing and workshop that I need to attend before surgery. So here is what I have left.....

I get my blood work and my EKG around 11:00am
That same day I have a workshop to attend from 2:00 - 5:00

I have my last visit with Dr. Kligman before surgery, which is scheduled for the 27th YIPPEEEEEE

More Pre-Op Testing

Today I had my appt for the three pre-op test.
All went fine until they gave me some barium to drink for the Upper GI. What the hell was that shi*!!! OMG I thought I was going to die. The worse shi* ever to give to somene to drink. I' sure there's more in store for me that I'm not going to like so I guess I better get use to it. But I'm damn sure not going to get use to drinking that mess!
Thyroid Function Test

Today I went to get my blood work done at my PC's office for the Thyroid function test. 2-3 days for those results.

Okay so I guess I minus well cancel getting surgery on the 6th. That's not going to happen. There are too many other test that need to be done and there is no way that the results are going to be back in time. I talked to Janice this morning and she told me that I still needed to...

Not to mention that I have to seet the doctors once more before surgery. WTF!!!!!!

This is the best news EVER. Of course being the proactive person that I am, I took it upon myself to keep track of what was going on with the insurace company. From the day I found out that it was sent I called and harassed these people day in and day out. 
They told me it could take up to 3 weeks for their decision to be made, but I wasnt' going to wait that long. I was giving them a week, but nothing longer then that. I mean, how long does it take to read some documents and make a decision?

Pre-Op Testing

I spoke with Janice today and asked if I could get any of my testing done down here so I would't have to drive back and forth to Bmroe. She said they would send me the script to get the X-rays, Ultrasound and Thyroid function test done down here. Now I guess I'm off to schedule that!
Paperwork off to Insurance Company

YIPPEEEEE. All of my paperwork has been sent off to the insurance company. And guess what else, I GOT A SURGERY DATE of 11/6 granted I am approved and all my testing is done in time.
