Hey Tee, Just came across you from your response on "life expectancy post". Had to read your profile and you definitely have a gift of words. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone your story. I have not been overweight all my life, only starting having problems after marriage. At that time, WLS was such a dangerous thing to consider, plus I was not morbidly obese then. After 20+ years, and about 80-100 lbs more, I ended up that way. Thankfully, I had surgery Jan 3rd and have now lost 70 lbs. Naturally I have regrets that I've missed a lot of years hiding in a 'fat shell' and not lived life to the fullest~~but am so thankful for this wonderful gift! I am sorry to ramble about me on your page, but just wanted to convey what it means to have you here on OH to share with all of us "newbies". I'm sorry that you had so many complications, but am so thankful that you are doing so well now. Plus the wonderful positive attitude you have. You truly are an inspiration! Oh, and I should wish you a "HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY"!!!! (since it's 'almost' your day!) Here's to 20+ MORE!!!! Take care & God Bless You~~~Lisa

Tee.. I know you've already had your surgery but just wanted to post here so that everyone who reads it can see that you've given me some advice that's wonderful and have been very supportive of me and my new "family". Thanks so much for being helpful. -Danielle W.
