Hello all its Oct yes !! getting closer to my wls in Nov. well I fell about a month ago and last week they tell me i need a knee scope to fix my menicus i tore in my knee .. it hurts to move or twist ect so tomorrow i have to have a knee scope to repair the torn knee I'm a little concerned but they tell me i will be fine to do my wls in Nov and be able to exercise after it so I guess its ok. its midnight and i'm a lot more concerned then i thought i would be but I know i don't want to deal with this pain any more and I don't want to mess up and not be able to work out after WLS so I will be at the hosp. at 9 am and for now I'm (NPO) nothing to eat or drink until surgery tomorrow. I'm a medical biller so I know all the the little abbev. for this stuff part of the job. 
well i can't tell you how many nice and understanding people i have met on this web site it is like unreal to have people that truly understand. thanks OH for this site

well its Sept 24th and it means I only have 6 weeks until surgery,the 29th of sept is my 44th birthday what a gift to beable to get healthy. I was given some great advice by melissa to get the book "WLS for Dummies " I went to sioux falls this weekend and was able to get a copy at Barnes and Noble it is a great book lots of answers and it will help me all though my journey I will be going to my own dr. for a pre op phy on the 16th of Oct and a ekg at that time then off to sioux falls for the pre op vist on the 30th of Oct.with Dr O'brien and a nutrition class ,pharmist,lung spec. ect and reg. for surgery. I'm sooo excited.. my diet of 1200 cal is going well, I will begin really exercising this week Ive been told it help's to get started now. The Beginning of a Losing Game

Hello all, pre surgerywell today is the start of my new life. Ive been on my 1200 cal diet now for three days and doing well. I went to break with my friends today and most of them always get ice cream but I was very good and ordered ice water. they were proud of me and so was I. I can do this!!!
