Okie Dokie, I'm Back.......somewhat

Not really in the mood to do any rhymes yet but that will come.

Anyway, everything happened so quickly.  I didn't think I would be approved; then last minute paper chases; then the evening before said surgery finding out around 5:30 PM after calling the insurance company that yes, indeed, I was approved.  On the day of surgery, I called only to be told instead of the 18:45 surgery time to come in asap because the Doc usually ran way ahead.  Good Grief!  So I rushed as fast as I could and I wished I had wings.  We arrived 12:45 PM and I think LOL (Kudos to the Anesthesiologist) I went in around 6:30 PM.  After that, I think I was put in a commercial laundry machine on the bulky cycle & tumbled dry with some Doc Martens.

Ah, man but I am a terrible patient.  Not in as I complain and I am a pain in the a**; I have a tendency to withdraw into myself when uncomfortable.  It is the down time.  I HATE IT!  And I really really HATE the fact this isn't something I can just force my way through.  Found out the hard way (LOL the only way I know) tried to do too much Tuesday & was soooooo miserable.  I even cried. 

Monday was my first relatively good day. Tuesday was..........frustrating.

Today, I took much better care of myself.  I am a resting more than I ever have (I am ADHD basically full blown spaz; Vyvanse is a miracle for me) so sitting still for very long makes me nuts; I don't nap/sleep much either.  I think I even got my most of the recommended protein in.  How's that? !   Truth be told, I am trying to help my body so I can get out of this liquid stage.  I don't want to do the liquid thing any longer than I have to.

I have some really "gorgeous" before photos of me in my swimsuit at my heaviest to upload as soon as I find my USB for the camera.  BEWARE.....you do NOT want to eat before or after these.  Don't say you weren't warned. 

Well, it is getting late & I can't think straight and should be getting to sleep soon.  I have my one week post op tomorrow.
