I got a call from the doctor's office and I am having surgery 4/28!  Everything went so fast.  If any of you have and advice or tips...please share!!

I am going to the New Patient Class tomorrow morning.  I was originally going to have surgery at Orange Coast Memorial, but switched to Fountain Valley since they could get me into the class sooner.  I don't know if I will have to do the 6 month diet or not.  I got a call from one of the girls and she said they confirmed my insurance coverage and it would pay 100%, but I would have a out of pocket fee that they would not bill to insurance ( I had not heard of that before from this office).  I was at a birthday luncheon and it was a noisy restaurant, so I was having a hard time hearing exactly what she was saying.  Then I got a call from the PA and she went over my medical history and asked a whole bunch of questions.  So, we shall see what happens.  I am getting more and more excited.  I know I probably have a ways to go before I get a surgery date, but I am closer today then I was yesterday!

I am going to my PCP and going to see if he can refer me to a surgeon and see if I can get the process started. Yay!  I still don't know what surgery.
