Six Month Post Op Update
Jan 23, 2009
Well can you believe it I am 6 months post op and have lost half of my excess. WOW. I never thought that would be possible. It is so exciting to leave each 10 lbs block to know I will never weigh that again. I have given all of my large clothes away and have had a lot of fun shopping as my body image I have says I need the larger sizes and then realize I actually fit in some of the clothes at the regualar sizes. Another WOW. Life is very good and I am excited every day to see what is in store for me as food is not the object of my day today.
I joined a gym this week and am having a lot of fun with my husband using the equipment. I am amazed at my ability to stay with it. I have never had the stamina before to actually do it. It is fun. I am very happy I have had my surgery. Thank you for listening to me.

Night before Surgery
Jun 30, 2008
Hi all, well tomorrow is the big day. Surgery check in is at 5:30 AM. 0 dark thirty. I will be there ready. We are in a motel in Portland tonight and then to hospital in the AM. I am not eating tonight and Hubby is off for his meal. I am so lucky he is a great guy. I am happy, scarred, apprehensive and estactic all at the same time. I am so ready for this surgery. I have had a hard time getting any weight off at all so I am very ready for some help. I know this will not zap me thin but it will be nice to finally see the scale move to smaller numbers. I will take each lb with joy and enthusiasm. Thank you all for the great support. I will post more later. Chujo will post on the boards for me. THANK YOU>
