Tomorrow is the big day.  I am super excited.  Ready to get the show on the road!!!

I have my new and improved surgery date!!!  Friday, June 13th I will get by Realize Band!! 

I am waiting to hear from my new surgeon on a date.  I have pretty much decided to go with adjustable gastric banding.  I am now excited instead or terrified.  I will let everyone know about the new surgery date!!!

You read it right.  I backed out in the pre-op room.  My surgeon will not reconsider me for 6-12 months.  I am ok with that and my decision.  I will try non-surgical (yet again) to lose weight.  My fear got the best of me.  That is all for now!

Yep, I was one of the ONES that wuss out.  I have rescheduled my surgery.....well, I am in the process.  I am waiting to hear back on future surgery dates.  I know, I know......I suck!!!

   

I met with my new pcp yesterday afternoon.  

Good News - He agreed to write a referral letter to my surgeon.  This was just a formality but one that I needed on my side!  He was very nice and agreed that the weight needed to come off esp. due to my PCOS.  

Bad News - He tells me he feels I should research the LapBand and maybe consider it instead of the rny.  He tells me he has lost about 5 patients and gives the spill about vitamin def., bowl obstructions, possibilities of weight regain, yadda yadda yadda.  

Now I am feeling scared and unsure of my decision.  Ughhhhh.......

I go get my labs done on January 4th and then I will meet with my surgeon on January 10th.  I have the support group meeting on January 10th and meet my new pcp on January 23!  Things are happening..............
