Juliet - I can so identify with your post! What is it about that 100 lb mark that the body does a "WHOA-UP" there and come to a screeching halt? I was happily losing 4-7 lbs a week and at 10 days before my 5 month anniversay, I had a pesky 6 lbs to lose. Well, I really wanted that -100 lb goal (yeah, yeah, at first I wanted -100 at 6 months, but I was so close...) so I really concentrated on hi-protein, low-carb, lots of water, and I even did the dreaded *EXERCISE*. So on my 5 month anniversary did I make it?? NO!!! I hadn't lost anything and didn't until last weekend when I dropped 5 lbs. So, here I sit at -99 lbs. Talk about frustrating! I know, I know, everything is "rearranging" and this is only temporary, but why couldn't it have picked -101 to rearrange? One of the great mysteries of life I guess. Well, back to my bbq pork lunch. Good luck and congrats on your loss thus far...I know we'll both break this imaginary barrier...some day!

Hi Juliet...I, too, waited weeks to go from 99 lbs. down to 100. I was so sick and bored of waiting that when it happened it didn't even hit me 'til like 2 days later...hey, I'm in the Century Club! Hang in there...you KNOW this will happen. And people, please look at Juliet's pictures on her profile...and tell me, isn't her baby one of the cutest babies you've ever seen? Every time I see that picture, I smile a mile wide. You've done great so far, Juliet! Don't despair. Hugs, Joy

HI all, It's me. I am 5 days out from surgery and feeling better everyday. Obviously, I still have lots of pain, but I have not had any thoughts of regret. I AM wondering why absolutely everything besides water has to give us GB people GAS! Good thing I already ordered the Devrom...LOL! Dr. Oh was very pleased with surgery and it went off without a hitch. He was very proud that I was already walking several hours after surgery. I'm being real good and cautious, too. Did I mention I've lost 13 pounds already? I must have had lots of water stored up. Thanks for all your support...especially my sweet Angel, Jes and my incredible husband, Tim. Gotta go rest now.

Hi everyone...talked to Juliet this morning ...She is doing great! Woke up in a lot of pain after surgery..but after trying several pain meds they found one that worked. She has already walked 3 times and went potty too. They have her on ice chips now, and as we were talking she drifted off to sleep. So I told her I would see her later. Dr. OH said everything went as planned and her gall bladder is still intact, no problems.She should get to leave the hospital tommorow. Take care all and congrats Jules!
