Surgery Yesterday, Home Today

Got on the scale at the hospital yesterday.  Weight 245, same as on the Wii earlier in the day.  Waited forever after being called in early yesterday.  Gave me that much more time to worry.  Finally went in, back to room I think around 5:30.  Apparently had dry heaves while in recovery room, but I don't remember any of that thank goodness.  Allowed to eat all liquids and yogurt type foods.  Trying to swallow protein shots to get in required protein.  Almost got sick; I think I tried to drink too much as one time.  Working on some yogurt now for a better taste.  Can't tell if hungary, in pain, or what.  Feels like dull hunger, but...  an ounce every 15 minutes is a real pain.  Have a direct pain port in; not sure how much it's doing, but I don't really want to pull it out yet and find out.  Mostly achy pain, a little sharper on my left side where the pump is, but I was also coughing today, so maybe that did it.  Tired.  Walking not a problem.  Was up at midnight, 6am walking around the hospital.  Felt good.
