I had a gastric band placement on the first of March, 2012, but something went wrong and I ended up with horrible adhesions, so it had to be removed a week later. The doctor said it may have been caused by a bacterial infection, but it was weird, as if my body just rejected the band. So, I am now scheduled for a Gastric Bypass on May 11. Hoping it works this time!
