As you can see, I have been a member since July of 2005. I spent many hours researching weight loss surgery and had two consultations with surgeons. After fighting with my insurace company and being denied more than once, I put my wish on hold. I didn't have the resources to proceed with the surgery. In 2008, I remarried and I am fortunate enough to have his insurance, which approved my authorization to seek weight loss surgery. I struggled with the realization that this could possibly happen for me for over a year before I made the call. I have to admit, I am feeling a little nervous and scared when I think that it might actually happen this time. I have started the process and have made my initial appointment. I know this is the right thing for me to do because I am wanting to live my life to its fullest. I am ready....
