Hi OH Fam,
It's been awhile since I posted but please accept my apology.  It's been one hell of a year for me..But on a lighter note, I have lost @ 180lbsin 27 months.  Its been an experience one that I don't regret..I would do it all over again...I have several friends at work that have had the surgery or in a stage of getting the surgery,  It makes me feel great to know that my experience has helped alot of others that had the same problem/feelings about being overweight as I had and I was able to help them step onto the path of a new beginning.  I have not reached my goal as of yet that was set by my doctor but I have reached my goal of happiness that I set for myself.  I can now where a 10 pant and a large top.  I came from a 26-28w.  So the goal of being happy with myself has been met.  Thanks to my doctors and all my OH family.  I will post pics soon

First, I hope all om OH family is doing well and being the best losers they can be (lol)...Today, marks 13 months that I have been on this journey of a lifetime...I can now wear 12w or 14 misses depending on the style and cut.  It used to wear (trying hard to forget but it is not easy) 26-28 w.  I started this journey @ 367lbs (oh my oh my, that was a hard pill to swallow)..I gues I am now between 185lbs-188lbs depending on the day and time of the week it is.  I have learned the hard way not to be a scaleaholic.  It can truly make this journey hard and uncomfortable when you scale everyday or week..Relax and do what you supposed to do and it will happen..

Hi to all my OH family, I hope and pray everyone is doing great on this lovely day that the Lord has blessed us to see.  Today one year ago I under went a lifelong change.  I successfully had RNY preformed at Oschners Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.  As of today I have lost 132lbs of unwanted FAT!!! (lol) GOD is good all the time and all the time GOD is good!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that the New Year finds each one of you doing, feeling well.  I did not make any New Year resolutions this year, but I guess I sort of did and it is to treat myself better.  I always tend to treat my children and my dear husband better than myself.  I always tend to put myself last on the list.  In my immediate as well as my extended family I am the one everyone comes to for help, friendship, shoulder to cry on etc... and I am always there if and when needed.  2009 is going to be different (I have expressed this to everyone) in that I am going to try and put me first !!(sometimes lol)  I weighed for the first time since 11/08 and I only lost 16lbs!!  I know it is from not exercising regularly.  Well Sunday morning I got up and jogged/walked 5 miles all by myself.  It was very invigorating.  I never liked exercising alone because it was boring, but Sunday I had the time to reflect on my past and future.  I have made it to (199lbs) onederland!!!!  That's (drumroll please!!!!) 118lbs down!!!!  Will post new pics soon.  Thanks to Double Ayy, Kitty99, you guys/gals are the greatest inspiration. 

wELL. MY OH FAMILY, FIRST I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT WITH THEIR WLS.  SECOND, IT SNOWING IN SOUTH LOUISIANA TODAY.  WE GOT ABOUT 2-3 INCHES OF SNOW TODAY.  LORDY, LORDY, THINGS  ARE TRULY CHANGING IN THIS BIG OL WORLD.  I WILL POST PICS SOON. 

Hi my OH family,
Its' been a awhile since I updated my post ...so here goes...215lbs!!!! Can you believe that, I can't.  Its a little overwhelming when you sit down and actually think about it.  105lbs lost. 60 lbs before reaching goal!!!.  I was hoping that I would be at goal before my 1st year but realistically I know it isn't possible but I will take a lost of any amount.  I will post new pics soon.  To all of my OH family "I wish each and everyone of you great success in your wls journey"

Well, the evil scale reads 223lbs, finally the stall seems broken.  I am currently slipping a little on the exercise program.  It is extremely cold here in Louisiana for whatever reason.  I hate to be cold.  I will attempt to jog this afternoon once the sun comes out but jogging in 36 degree cold just does not motivate me this morning.  To all wls family, hope each and everyone of you have a great day.  99lbs lost!!!

I finally got the nerve to scale this morning and it read 227lbs.  WOW, it has been a minute since the scale moved.  I know the inches are going because I bought a pair of 14w capris for the football game Saturday and they fit.  I did not have to do the stripper dance to pull them up nor did I need a pair of pliers, they zipped up perfectly.  So I guess I should be happy for that.  But it would be nice to see the scale move constantly.  That is a 95lb lost in 8 months. Hooray for me and all the other wls losers.

HERE I AM ONCE AGAIN AT YET ANOTHER STALL.  I GUESS A LITTLE LOSS IS BETTER THAN NO LOSS AT ALL.  IF I COULD , BLAME THE STALL ON HURRICANE GUSTAV.  ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS W/O ELECTRICITY.  SO ITS RATHER HARD TO PREPARE YOUR MEALS W/O IT.  EATING THE RIGHT THINGS CAN BE HARD WHEN MOST OF THE STORES ARE BARE.  I LOST 3LBS IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS.  I WILL STAY FOCUSED AND RETURN TO MY NEW WAY OF LIFE NOW THAT THE ELECTRICITY HAS BEEN RESTORED,  THE INCHES ARE STILL MOVING THOUGH.  SO I GUESS THAT'S A GOOD THING.  WILL POST SOME NEW PICS SOON.
