This weekend I went to the movies and saw "Wall Street" Great movie!  I'm sooo used to getting popcorn and the smell of it was driving me wild!  The ironic thing is when I bought my ticket, they gave me a ticket for a free small popcorn!!!!

Now you know that was temptation at its finest!  I decided that I didn't want to chance it yet with the popcorn so I saved it for a later date.  Licking my lips at the thought of my adventure to come! 

WOW!!!   September 7th almost seems like a blur!  I accomplished my goal and had gastric bypass surgery!   Its truly been a journey.  Surgery was a success no real side effects except that one of my incisions kept opening up seeping liquids.  That's finally dried up and has begun to heal.  Thank God!!!!  

I didn't experience nausia and I'm thankful for that as well.  I had my first dumping experience about a week ago from fruit, so now that has me afraid to try new foods.  I'd rather keep it safe and stay with the foods that I know won't hurt me.  I am tired of the pureed foods but I don't feel ready to proceed to anything else. 

I am looking forward to getting back in to see my therapist.  Therapy is a necessity!    Gotta go for now!
