Finally Banded

I am banded, it was not as bad as I thought.  I'm in a little pain but on medication and very sore.  My Doctor was great and kept my family updated on my status.  Wow I cannot believe I am banded.  Ok I am really sore so i am going to get some rest. bye

Today I have started my pre-op liquid diet it’s only for two days.  Thank God!! My surgery date is sooooooo close!!!!  I am extremely nervous, excited, anxious and scared all at the same time.  I just hope everything turns out ok!! I have read and heard all the good stories about the Lap Band.  I just hope this works for me. March 29, 2007 is my new birthday!!!  I will never forget that day!  I just want to thank everyone who has wished me well and kept me in there prayers THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! J

Got Approved!!!!

OMG I got approved!!!!  I was in a state of shock.  It took them 3 weeks to approve me.  I was at work and I just wanted to scream and jump up and down!!!!!!!!!!!  I called my mother she was soooooo happy for me. Now I am really nervous for the surgery, I just hope and pray everything goes well for me.

OMG I am getting really nervous now, I still have not heard if I am approved or not!!! I have the surgery date and I have prepped myself but I don’t get approved I will be so disappointed.  I am too scared to call my insurance or my doctor’s office.  I know I should call them.  I will call them by Wednesday.  My doctor’s office submitted the paper work on February 27th why does it take so long. :( I am anxious, concerned and worried now.  I just have to keep praying this happens for me.

Ok here it goes, I got my surgery date for March 29, 2007.  God willing it will happen that day.  I am soooooo anxious and worried due to the fact I still have to take a stress test on the 13th of March.  
I have been trying to keep busy, I finally posted messages on the message boards something I have never done b4.  I usually just read all the great advice people post on them.  Im just going crazy, I cannot wait until I get the surgery.  I am soooooo happy that my life is going to finally change in a big way.
