I had my surgery on May 19, 2008. Everything went really well. I am about 3.5 weeks post-op and doing pretty well. I'm still having a struggle with my energy level but it is getting better everyday. So far I've had no problems with anything I've eaten. Of course, I am very careful what I choose to eat. I am very afraid of the "dumping syndrome"! I do not want to experience that at all!

I got my approval notice this past Friday, April 11, 2008! I also got my surgery date!

Is the day my new life begins! I am soooooo excited. I felt such a sense of peace when I got this call.
