I'm Vera. I'm 27 years old and I am from Indiana. I'm married and have a 10 year old step daughter. I considered having bariatric surgery after my older sister went through the process. She inspired me to look into getting this done. She has done wonderful over the past year and I am so proud of her. I decided to get the VSG. I felt it was the best option for me. I'm going in on Monday October 5, 2009. I can't wait. I'm a little nervous, but not very much. I just hope everything goes well during the surgery. I'm a little nervous about the diet. I hope I don't mess it up or eat something I'm not suppose to. I don't want to get sick!!! I will try my best and I hope that my weight will come off. It's been there for too LONG!!!
