Well, it's been a year and half since my surgery, and I am still doing quite well. I haven't reached my normal BMI, and feel, I probably won't make it there and I am fine with that. I've lost about 105 lbs. I've been loosing inches, but no weight has come off for quite some time. I've reached my size goal. I can currently wear size 12/14 jeans and large shirts in most brands. I am very pleased with my results thus far. I feel great, and have not had very much trouble at all with the surgery. I don't regret doing this at all. Here soon my husband and I are going to try to get pregnant. Since loosing the weight, we pray we have better chances this time around at conceiving. I'm looking forward to the future.

Well, It's been almost 4 months since surgery and I'm now down 55lbs. I'm doing really good with my food intake, and I'm getting my protein. I need to focus on more exercise. My daughter is done with basketball for the season, so I will be able to focus more on physical fitness. I feel great though! Can't wait to loose more!

Hello. It's been about a week and a half since I went through my VSG surgery. I weighed in Monday and I have lost 17 lbs so far!!! It unreal. I've been trying to loose this weight for years! It's a total miracle. The first week at home was very rough for me. I was in a lot of pain. I went to my doctor and he prescribe me some different pain meds, and things got better. I'm still sore in the abdomen area. I go for my appointment tomorrow to see when I will be returing to work. I'm hoping for another week off since I'm still hurting some at this point. I work in a factory so I don't want to push things too quickly. I want to be healed properly. Eating food has went really well with me. Everything I've tried to eat has went down fine. I haven't gotten sick yet thank god! I'm getting my protein in and my water intake is really good. I'm so thankful that I have gotten this surgery done. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Well, I think I'm ready to get on with this surgury. I went to the store and bought a bunch of Jello, broth, and popcicles for the first few days. Shopping for me was actually a little intimidating. I know I'm only going to be eating a little bit at a time, but I feel like I'm going to run out of food or somthing. I know I won't, but it doesn't seem like much ya know? Tomorrow will be my final day of eating BIG. Lucky for me it's the biggest day in the town I live in. We celebrate Oktoberfest. Lots of food. I'm going to be hitting the food booths tomorrow for the last time. I will miss that, but it will be worth it to loose all this weight. I'll miss my beer and pop. I think I can do it. I will have to do it. There's nothing else you can do once you get this done. It's the final moment...better enjoy it!

I'm going in Oct. 5! I'm so excited about this new venture I'm taking. I hope everything goes well.
