Can you PB without a fill?

For those of you that have followed I had my surgery on Dec 21, 2009 and have not had a fill but have still lost approximately 40 pounds. I have not a had a fill, but I am still doing well. Today I was eating chicken nuggets at work and then I started burping and a tightness in my throat and finally the nuggets came back for a visit. I didn't know that food can come back up without having a fill.
