I had my chest X ray, EKG, and spirometer test done last night and they had to check my AC1 level...11.6% OUCH! Ok, so we had two holidays since the last check, but I didn't think I screwed up THAT BAD. Apparently I was wrong. Now I'm on insulin...the pen. GREAT! But you know what? That will not slow me down getting this surgery. I just see it as another hoop to jump through and I'll be the one that will destroy that hoop...it will not destroy me! Pray for me people. I want to be on that loser bench with ya! Hey, maybe it will make the doc do the surgery earlier! HINT HINT! I'm raring to go if you are doc!

Just found out I GOT APPROVED BY INSURANCE! Hot diggity dogs! I still have a couple of hoops to jump through before the magic day arrives. I'm hoping to have surgery before the end of the year, but don't know if that will happen yet. I'll be cutting it close. Probably looks like the first or second week of the new year. Hey, new year = new me!
