Well look at you! You look great. I found your pics on the Before and After, read your profile and could not believe that was the same person. You really look GREAT. Very inspirational to someone like me who is waiting to have surgery. Thanks for posting!

Well, here I am one week away from my 100 pound party scheduled for August 25. I'm down to date 103 pounds and 110" The weight has really slowed down but then I've been eating alot more. Not at one time but often and probably to often. I've been plaqued with lots of severe lower back problems here recently so haven't gotten much exercise. I was denied this week by my insurance company for the Abdominoplasty. So I will appeal with my back as the main focus. Hope all goes well.

Just visited my PCP on Friday and she was so pleased with my 90 pound weight loss. I'm planning my 100 pound party for Aug. 25 so I have alot of time to get the next 10 pounds off. Dr. said I should lose about 40-50 more.

Thanks to Lissa on this website for consolidating my 2 profiles into one. I seen Dr. Weber on June 6 and he was pleased with my weight loss although I know it isn't like some of the others. He said he would see me on my 1 year anniversary and I should be down another 50 pounds. Seeing would be believing. I would be very happy with just another 35. I guess time will tell.

Hi, I'm doing an update now but beings I somehow have 2 profiles I'm not sure how to condense to one. Stay tuned.

Here I am 4 months and 3 days out and feeling like a million dollars. I wouldn't win any prize for most weight loss in a 4 month period but I'm very happy to be down what I am and especially happy with the inches lost. On my anniversary day I was down 64 pounds and 56 inches counting only those inches measured in the Primary places. I didn't go for wrist, ankles etc. I'm a happy camper and hope my good health continues for years to come.

I'm hanging in here. Yesterday was a bad, bad day. I had some real problems with liquids or soup. I've never vomited so many times in my life. Finally had to go to the Emergency room to have an EKG as I had so much pressure and pain in my chest and behind my shoulder blades. Today I'm on full liquids again at 4 weeks post-op. Boy I don't ever want to go through anything like that again. Dr. Weber said Thursday that I need to get in more Protein. But not as in a steak. Here's hoping to a speedy recovery from yesterday and a healthy tomorrow and forever.

Carolyn~Glad you made it to the "other side". I think that 15 lbs. is great. I am 2 weeks and a day post-op as well and have lost about 18 lbs. People lose differently-just as long as we lose :)

Today I am 11 days post-op and really feel pretty good with the exception of some soreness inside me. Have had no problems with the puree food I've tried. Looks as though I've lost about 15 pounds but really didn't have anyone record a starting weight. I'm sure not doing what you younger gals are but at 60 I'm glad to be on the other side and healthy. It will all happen, so I've been told.
