i dont eat surger or alot of fat but i get the worst smelling gas and diareaha could

Most likely its fat. Cut your fat to 20 grms per day..good luck nearly
impossible for me!! but i try.

If you have your gallbladder taken out, your gas is going to smelly and
your BMs are going to be loose. My doctor suggested Imodium for the BMs
and charcoal pills from GNC for the gas. Good luck!

the bacteria in your gut may be unbalanced. try taking acidophilus, the
good refrigerated kind, 3 pills w/each meal for 10 days.. then 2 pills each
week. If this doesn't work, ask your doc for Flagyl- its an antiinfective
that will kill off the gas-producing bacteria- and then start over w/the
acidophilus. Flagyl works WONDERS!!

My doc said that depending on the type of surgery I have, the worse
smelling the gas. So I chose the full blown distal and let me tell you, I
really have to plan my social life!

I did not have this problem until about 8 months out and it seems to be
getting worse. I'm assuming since I can eat more of a variety now, I am
probably getting more fat in. I have started taking "Beano" with
my meals and it seems to help. I definately notice if I forget to take
them. Good luck.
