Hi Shanna: Congratulations on your weight loss. I'm pre op but had a breast reduction and lift from a surgeon in Marina Del Rey in hopes that it would help with my lower back pain. It didn't. Let me say upfront that this is just my personal exerience and opinion. The guy I went to is pretty well known. I've seen him on 2 of the 3 LA news channels, on entertainment tonight, discovery health channel and extra. He developed the lazer technique with the internal bra. Because of using the lazer he can't operate in Daniel Freedman hospital. It's in this annex type building that didn't give me a sense of confidence. The office visits always took an hour or two except one time. I got a staph. infection and 2 years afterwards still have horrible scarring. I do love being "perky" though. There's another well known surgeon in L.A. but I can't think of his name right now. I think my experience shows that you can still be dissatisfied even with the most highly regarded surgeon. If you're ever in south orange county I'll show you in person. I'll warn you though it is painful. It was a lot worse than the c section type of operation I had prior. Hi I worked for a fantastic plastic surgeon and highly reccommend him. His name is E. Terino, M.D. in Thousand Oaks. Dr. Terino has been in practice for many years and is well regarded in the community. Several of my family members have had "T" do their surgery and all have been happy. I suggest you give him a call and have a consultation. Expect a wait when you go. Dr. Terino spends alot of time with his patients and he is always running behind schedule. But he is worth the wait. Hi Shanna--Dr. Susan Downey is awesome & works at USC with the weight loss patients. She really knows her stuff. I know many people who have been very pleased. She has offices in Encino & at USC university hospital. 323-442-6470

Dr. Linder in Beverly Hills is really popular and good. I had 2 girlfriends who went to him for breast reduction and they just LOVE him.
