I have not met with Dr. Bell as yet, but I have spoken to LIZ in his office and she was very informative. At times I became very anxious almost annoying with questions and concerns surrounding my individual needs, due to stress in my life @ the time. Liz was very understanding and put up with all my issues, phone calls, and even found time to make me laugh. What more could you ask for? What I found most interesting about Dr. Bell is that patients/clients interested in Gastric-Bypass surgery needed to get all medical records, test, and evaluations to his office prior to. I know from research there can be a long waiting process from 9 months to even a year, before you do anything or meet with the surgeon. I will be seeing Dr. Bell in Feb, and I can't wait.

I have not actually met Dr. Bell yet but was very impressed with his quick response to an e-mail that I sent him. I spoke with Liz a few times and she was very helpful. I hope to be meeting with Dr. Bell in Feb. He asks his patients to complete all the reverals and other evaluations before the consult is scheduled. He directed me to Yale for both the dietician appointment and Pych. evaluation. I was Very impressed with both individuals. They were professional and said they would send in all the paperwork to Dr. Bell in a week. I am looking forward to meeting Dr. Bell and his staff. I will update after the consult.

Very nice manner, patient, responsive to all questions and takes the time to answer them all.

Have only seen him twice, once was a group session, and once during an exam, history. But he answered my questions, made sure I had his card and encouraged me to call him if I had any other concerns.

My first impression was in speaking to the staff, who were very helpful, and cheerful.
Showing a lot of respect.

Come prepared with your questions written down. He did take time to answer them.

During my pre-op exam, I was told when my follow up exam will be, and what I might expect.

The aftercare is all set up with regular intervals for visits.

We discussed the risks, and they were written in by the surgeon on the release.

Very Good so far.

Surgical competence of course, but if you can get both thats great.

i thought dr bell was amazing and so is his staff. i met him on friday 10/25/2002 for the first information session before my pre op visit. the office and yale are so excited about his clinic and what he is doing... no one is ever tired of listening to you and they are all so easy to talk to... i would rate him a 9 of 10 and only thing bad is that i had to wait for over 1 1/2 hours for that first visit because he ran way over with a previous patient.
