The first time I met Dr. Pecquex was at a support group meeting and found her to be extremely educated about WLS. I was amazed at how she interacted with all of the people who had the surgery and how she always stressed that if you have any problems or any questions to make sure you call. She thinks of her patients first and herself last.

When I had my first one on one with her, I found her to be really great. I love her sense of humor. She tells you like it is, but in a compassionate way. She knows how the program goes and she wants what is best for you. Dr. Pecquex wants people to succeed and therefore, you strive hard to do what you have to do.

I'd recommend Dr. Pecquex to anyone thinking of having WLS or having any other types of surgeries she deals with. In my eyes, she's the best there is.

Dr. Bodner was very informative and described the risks and benefits of the surgery.

Dr. Bodner was friendly and open, relaxed and answered my questions easily. He was very frank and open about the risks and explained the procedure clearly. I was confortable with him, and his staff was very friendly and caring. I went through an extensive interview and psychological counselling process prior to getting approved, and Dr. Bodner had me lose 20 lbs. prior to surgery. I think that was a way to get me geared toward the changes I must make for the future, and to show that I could make the changes needed to improve my health after surgery, long term. I highly recommend him and his staff!

My first impression of Dr. Bodner was good. He seemed to take the time to explain everything to me. He seemed impressed to hear that I had done a lot of research before going to him.
He felt that I was well aware of the work it took after the surgery.

His office staff was very nice and didn't make me feel anything but important.

I feel that all patients that go to Dr. Bodner should know that he will help you as long as you are willing to follow his wants and needs. He is very careful and wants his patients to lose some weight first so that the risk isn't as high...

He has given me instructions about my diets and has a very good aftercare.

I would rate Dr. Bodner on the high side. He was everything that I wanted in a surgeon and he made me feel great when he would check in on me twice a day in the hospital.

First impression of Dr. B - he's a nice man with a sense of humor, a very important quality to me. He was very concerned that I had all my questions answered and that I had all the information that I needed to make a good decision. He is very encouraging and supportive - and his staff as well.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. Bodner on 8/5/03. My first impression was a good one. He was very nice and very informative, covering everything about the surgery, aftercare and the pre-op things I would need. The thing I was impressed most about was that he has his patients go to intensive care for 2 days after surgery. then you are moved to a regular surgical floor. I feel that this is a neccessay step in order to monitor someone more closely. He also didn't sugar coat anything, I felt he was caring and thorough. I was able to schedule my pre-op work for two days later. I met with the nutritionist, had my bloodwork done, chest xray, and e.k.g. I will be seeing the doctor again on 9/16/03, hopefully we will bw setting my surgery date at this time. I already had a psych-eval done a few months back, so that s all set. I will update after my appt.

I THOUGHT DR BODNER WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND HIS STAFF WAS VERY NICE. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE IN THE WLS PROCESS. THEY ARE VERY BUSY THOUGH SO I DID CALL AND CHECK ON THINGS (LIKE PRIOR AUTH AND APPOINTMENTS AND SUCH). AS SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD I UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS AND KNOW HOW BUSY THEY ARE AND THEY ARE DOING THERE BEST. WE HAVE OUR SUPPORT GROUP OF ALL OF HIS PATIENTS AND IT IS VERY INFORMATIVE, ITS A GREAT GROUP OF VERY NICE, VERY OPEN PEOPLE, WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. ITS BEEN A GREAT HELP.
ITS BEEN A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THIS POINT.

I just met Dr. Ferzoco and she was very kind. She seems like she really wants to get to know me before she gets to the surgery part. I felt she had addressed the surgery with emphasis on the bad and the good. She gave me info on the support group and a prescription for xenical and xanax as I am nervous about the sleep study. I don't want to sleep somewhere that isn't home. The only thing I would have changed about today is that her scheduler seemed put out about having to get all of my tests done on mondays as my hubby dosn't work that day.

I actually wen and had my surgery with DR Bodner as Dr ferzoco had other things come up and had to put off everyones surgerys. Mine was delayed just 9 days before surgery.
I am so glad I had changed Dr. Bodner was very kind and has a great sense of humor. I am so grateful to him for giving me this wonderful gift.

Sensitive, actually takes time to listen, shows interest. He doesn't shove you out of the office after 2 minutes of back to back questions.

Everyone in his office is also very nice.
