Dr. Landerholm is one of the kindest and most genuine health care providers I've ever met, and I was raised by TWO of them (a doctor and a nurse). His demeanor and friendly attitude helped calm my nerves and give me the confidence I needed to take the plunge into VSG and make great strides personally towards my goals! Since meeting Dr. L, I've lost over 160+ pounds and he's been cheering me on all the way! I don't take to medical professionals easily, but when I meet a good one, I'm fiercely supportive of them. Dr. Landerholm will have my support and thanks for the rest of my life - which now, thanks to him, will be 4-5 decades LONGER than it would have been. Thanks doc!
I was sleeved Feb 18, 2015 at Puget Sound Bariatrics, by Dr. Landerholm. I had the most amazing experience, from my initial consult phone call, to today. The entire staff is thorough, kind, gentle, and caring. I was kept comfortable, and every step was explained to me. I have had no complications, no nausea, no vomitting. The care I received was amazing. The nurses, surgeon, and anesthesiologist all went above and beyond to make this smooth, and pain free. I would recommend Dr. Landerholm, and PSSC to anyone! Thank you!!

Dr. Landerholm is an amazing surgeon, he makes you feel important, he is down to earth and cares deeply for each patient. He answered all my family members questions with ease.
His entire office is amazing, from the front desk staff to insurance coordinators, Medical assistants and nurses, i knew i was cared for as a person and they wanted the best outcome for me. I had an incredibly easy recovery and continue to do very well with weight loss. I would recommend Dr. Landerholm to any of my friends and actually have suggested to some of them to at least go in for a consult. I feel very lucky to have had the pleasure to meet Dr. Landerholm.
I had seen a surgeon for the sleeve and didn't feel comfortable with that surgeon so in April 2011 I saw Dr. Landerholm for the first time and loved all of the knowledge that everyone had about the procedure.
Dr Landerholm put me at ease and I walked out of his office happy and a lot less nervous It took a while to jump through all of the insurance hoops but in August I was finally scheduled for surgery. I had the sleeve done yesterday and came home this morning. It was the best experience. I have a little discomfort but not really a lot of pain.
I would recommend Both Puget Sound Surgical Center and Dr Landerholm in an instant.

Dr. Landerholm and his staff are exceptional. From sitting in the first seminar to my followup 2 weeks later I have been treated to excellent care. They are compassionate, caring individuals who's number 1 goal is to help you succeed. I really appreciate Dr. Landerholm's support that all he is doing is providing me a tool to help me with my weight loss. The real work is mine. He took the time to answer all my children's questions. (they are grown so I use the term children loosely). I had an excellent experience with my surgery and my followup care so far.
I first heard about Dr. Landerholm from a cousin who had her surgery at Puget Sound Surgical Center. I, like many others, had been on the weight loss rollercoaster for twelve plus years. From time to time, I would visit the PSSC website to learn about the various surgery options available. I had thought about weight loss surgery off and on many times, but was apprehensive for various reasons. One day I saw that they were participating in a yearlong weight loss study trial. I signed up right away.
I immediately fell in love with Dr. Landerholm, Dr. Billing, and Melanie Machado from Pacific Nutrition and Wellness at the orientation. Their knowledge, warmth, kindness, and laid back attitude, put me at ease and in a matter of moments, I knew that I wanted to participate. Throughout the yearlong study, the entire staff at PSSC and Pacific Nutrition and Wellness continuously showed their excellence. At the end of the study I had gained ten pounds and new that it was time to make a decision for weight loss surgery. I had read and heard wonderful things about Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy and felt confident that was the right surgery for me.
On May 6th, 2010 I had my surgery with Dr. Landerholm. At a year post op, I am just as pleased with my decision. I am still amazed by his commitment to his patients, compassion, talent, and bedside manner. I myself work in the medical field, and can tell you that bedside manner doesn’t come easy, and this group of surgeons has proved otherwise. When you decide to have your surgery with Puget Sound Surgical center, you are getting a comprehensive package with the tools for a lifelong healthy journey. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Landerholm rocks! He did an excellent job ! My incisions healed quickly and the scars are small and fading. He is high energy, positive and loves what he does. I reccomend him!
Dr. Landerholm is an inspiration to me and my family. He has great bedside manners and is caring. I have never been so satisfied and happy with a doctor and confident. He made me feel like no matter what, he would take care of me to the best of my ability, and today is my 2nd day out of surgery and I couldn't be happier!
