Dr. Hendrick is awesome! I like his no nonsense attitude. He wants you to succeed. Has a great personality.rnHis office staff are the best I been around. He fills in on everything and answers any questions you have. He has a very structured after program and I am glad he will be my doctor for life! He has it all very skilled at his surgery, great bedside manner which all around make him a great doctor! I recommend any one to him, I don't think I could have found a better doctor!rnKat L.

I was very impressed with Dr. Hendrick, he is a very good surgeon who takes his job and your health seriously. He also has a good sense of humour. His bedside manners are among the best I have seen. He is very knowledgable about facts about protein and other supplements.

When I first heard Dr. Hendrick speak I was like \"Wow, this guy really knows his stuff!\" I was so impressed at how down to earth this man was and how knowledgeable he was about the subject of WLS. He could answer any question you threw at him. He was very blunt and to the point and DID NOT sugar coat anything. He lets you know the benefits along with ALL the risks involved. But along with all this he is a very caring man and wants only what is best for you, the patient. He does not force any of the procedures on you or tries to convince you to have the surgery. He looks at the whole picture and assesses the situation and will not make any decisions until he feels that YOU are comfortable with the solution. You can tell that this man truly does care for his patients and that he wants to see them succeed. He is one tough cookie and I am only now slowly learning that, as being so early on in my journey. He uses the technique of what parents would call \"Tough Love\" which is why almost 90% of his patients have such high success rates (ridiculous eh?). I knew immediately that I could trust my life within this man's hands. Out of a scale of 1-10, I would give this doc an 11++.rnA short note about his office staff, they are GREAT, only the best for such a amazing surgeon. And his aftercare program is structured for your success. He states that once you are a patient of his your his for life! I think this is one contract I will never regret signing...tee hee hee.rnI would recommend Dr. Steven Hendrick to anyone considering WLS!

My first impression of Dr. Steven Hendrick was he looked very sure of himself. He seemed knowledgeable and direct to the point about what he was going to do and what I needed to do to get the job done. rnDr. Hendrick was one of the best Doctors I have ever met, he said I would come through everything just fine and I did. Also When he did my tummy tuck he did a great job as well. He is not only a great surgeon but a friend to his patients when he needs to be. I would rate him at 100 percent.

My very first impression of Dr. Hendrick was that he was very friendly and cared about his patients. He will not take chances with anyone's health or well-being but also wants to see his patients happy and reaching their goals. He has a good sense of humour but is also very serious about what he does. I would recommend him to anyone considering WLS.

Very nice and very informational. He makes sure your ready for this step. He doesn't just say yes he will do it, he really thinks of the patient and makes sure your making the right choice of yourself. He said to remember he doesn't get paid till the job is done. So obviously he cares for his patients before getting paid. His staff is wonderfull and i thank them for being there and answering all of my questions even the silly ones. So far so good with him and his staff.

What an amazing Doctor, very very patient friendly, very personable, has an outstanding demeaner, his office girls are very supportive and will take the time to answer any questions, i have never felt so secure or comfortable with surgery as i did with Dr Hendricks, he explains everything in great detail and makes you feel comfortable with the procedure, he leaves no stones unturned, all my questions were answered fully. He definately is one of the BEST if not the BEST bariatric surgeon in michigan. Thanks for everything.

I was very nervous when I went to the seminar. I knew I wanted the surgery, I had done alot of research on different Dr's and hospitals. I guess it was fear of the unknown. I think I would have to say WOW was my first impression of Dr Hendrick. He is very straight forward with all his information. He holds nothing back. I was very impressed with him.I knew at that point I had found my surgeon. His staff is equally amazing. They have been so kind and caring, it is heartfelt to go into the office and they remember you and are genuine when they ask how you are doing. rnI had my surgery October 29, 2007. everything went very well, I had a few issues to overcome. But I can honestly tell you Dr Hendrick went above and beyond to help me.rnI have Never meet a more dedicated Dr. He has chosen a career that suits him well. I hope he and his staff stay at Wyandotte hospital for many years to come.
