Dr. Gornichec to me is the best of the best. He has very high expectations of his patients which I believe makes a great doctor. I love Dr. G's bedside manner. He makes me feel extremely comfortable. He runs a great office and has wonderful staff.rnrnBecause of the Lord, Dr. Gornichec and this wonderful opportunity, my life has changed. My outlook on life is great. I feel younger, healthier and a lot more sexy. Dr. Gornichec is a very matter of fact doctor. He was very thorough and helpful in making sure I knew what I was getting into. He seems to want to make sure he does things right. rnrnHis staff was very friendly and helpful in all my questions and concerns with tests and payment.rnrnThe only problem I had was it seemed to take longer than I thought to schedule everything. Of course, I had another surgical issue that had to be taken care of first, before the actual banding was done.rnrnDr. Gornichec had me come in at 2 weeks 1month and every month thereafter, so far. I feel he is keeping a very close eye on my health. He always emphasizes to call or come in if I have any concerns.rnrnHe is a good and thorough doctor. I think he is a very fine surgeon and talks with his patience, too.

He is very intelligent, confident and thorough with information; apprising me of both the pros and cons of surgery. His office assistant, Kim, is very sweet and helpful. Since I was a self-pay, I didn't have much contact with any others.rnrnMy surgery went very smoothly and I have yet to have my first fill. His fee includes fills for one year post-op.rnrnI was recently at my family docs for my annual physical (Dr. Siler) and he told me that I had really chosen well when I chose Dr. Gornichec for my surgeon. He said he reviews reports from the hospital, and Dr. Gornichec really is top-notch!

Dr Gornichec has been great. I've only seen him twice but both times he was very informative and took the time to make sure I understood everything. He is super cautious and will decline you for surgery if he feels you are at risk for any complications. He also has a more rigid post-op protocol for his patients than some of the other docs...but this is another safeguard against post-op complications. His patients have never had any serious post of complications. As a nurse I can tell you, I wish more doc's had as much care and concern for thier patients as Dr G does..

His nurse Janice is AWESOME! I have talked to her numerous times and she is always so helpful and easy to deal with. Whatever I needed...Janice made it happen.

I have one more appt with Dr Gornichec next week and then it's off to surgery May 2nd. I will keep you posted.

Dr. Gornichec is very thorough and maticulious.....He takes no shortcuts...
Being a nurse, I wanted the best...and with Dr. Gornichec that is what you get.
He takes the time to answer your questions and makes you feel like you are the only patient he has. Great bedside manner....and not too hard on the eyes.....I have been seeing him for almost 2 yrs. and I would recommend him to anyone...

Dr. Gornichec and his assistant Janice have been awesome he is an easy person to talk to, very informative, he takes the time to answer all your questions, and he tells it like it is. Janice has been great, she has stayed on top of the insurance co. and has really taken care of business.

I met Dr Gornichec at a seminar at Edmond Hospital and was immediately impressed by both his lecture and his laid back personalality. As a Registered Nurse I see so many physicians who are abrupt and too hurried to take the time to really talk to thier patients. Dr Gornichec stayed after the seminar and answered questions and was very approachable. He also was very knowledgeable about insurance and willing to "fight" to help his patients. I am beginning my inital phase and preparing to get all the tests and necessary paperwork completed and am eager to have my surgery in the very near future.

I first met Dr Russel S Gornichec at a seminar held in Edmond Ok . I had gone there to initially see Dr Pierce . After the seminar Dr Gornichec was the only dr out of the three that was there that night that stayed and answered questions and made me feel like I was important and took the time to make sure my husband and I had all the answers that we needed . His office nurse Ann made sure we had all the tests and things I needed to set up the surgery. Sure we had one mistake but it only postponed my surgery one week. It was a human error anyone could have made it Ann forgot to schedule one of my test . But I was glad we did it and all turned out well.They are a great bunch of people to know and I think highly of Dr Gornichec Ann and his other nurse Laurie. They are so personable and make you feel at ease. They will answer any questions you need or want.The after care is great and professional.You see the dr after two weeks then once a month for a year. I would rate Dr Gornichec as a 10 in all aspects surgical competence bedside manner and he is so good to look at.
