James Wiedower, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center

Dr. Wiedower is awesome!!! I am in the medical profession and don't often speak highly of Doctors,but I'm making an exception! Very knowledgeable, very good bedside manner. The Bariatric program at Winchester Medical Center deserves the awards and designation as a "Bariatric Center of Excellence" I would recommend the program to any of my friends and family!

Dr. Wiedower is a lovely man i really like him he seems to care about his patients he took time with me and answered all mine and my husbands questions. Im so glad i have him as my surgern.

i found dr. wiedower very informative. his manner is very positive and uplifting. i haven't been far enough in to say anything has changed. i have delt mostly with dr. wiedower , not much inter action with his staff yet.i found the aftercare program very helpful. basically if you stick with what they tell you . you will do fine, don't rush into the next steps of care without discussing it first.
all risks were explained in detail. that was something i needed to know he took the time to answer all my questions. and all my fears and concerns. i think my overall opinion would be if i had to choose a doctor , i would stick with dr. wiedower.

He has been my pysician for years. He is a very qualified surgeon, and is very personable.He is a people person I believe.
His staff is very polite and eager to work with you. One of the nurses in the group has had surgery so she is an inspiration.

I was really impressed with Dr. Wiedower. He went over everything very well and was patient when I was asking my questions. He was also very impressed by my research on the surgery as well as pre op and post op care. I trust him as a doctor and would recommend him to anyone.
