Dr. Wilkinson wasvery good he was thoughtful and understanding I was and still very pleased with his service I hated to see him leave this station. I only hope the very best for him where ever he goes to work. He called me at home to check on me I was very impressed with Dr. Wilkinson

The first time I met Dr. Wilkinson was over the phone, when I was trying to find out how well his surgical list was moving, I'd already completed all the required medical, lab, pyc. evals. and dietican visit. At that time I was #10. Later I met him one day checking my statis again and he was very professional and quick to answer all my questions. Finally called to give me a date of Dec 12. I went in to have my first real appointment with him. He discussed the surgery, the importance of the diet, the vitamins and the the importance of following with new eating habits. He is a very good general surgeon and has been teaching this procedure to other sugeons in the military community. He and Ginny Holeman are very involved in establishing our support group here at Ft. Gordon.

was very busy -but made sure that he greeted me & let me know he would be with me shortly. He oversees a number of surgerons there in the general surgery clinic.When he came in he gave me a complete run down of what would take place during surgery and the importance of following the correct eating habits & the importance of vitamins;proper foods & continued care with my local physical after surgery & into the future.I have contacted him a couple times with questions & he has been quick to respond.
Wish we had more time together and more contact before the actual surgery since its a few months off still. But this doesn't happen much when military referrals are a long way off (in my case an 8-9 hour drive one way). He comes highly recommened & has been head surgeron over general surgery for several years.Actually trains other surgerons for the military.
