Pasquale Iannoli, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center

I absolutely love Dr. Iannoli and would recommend him to anyone I knew that was wanting to have gastric bypass. I have had an excellent experience with him as my surgeon. He is very detailed in everything he explains to you as a patient and everything he does as a surgeon. He is very personable and informative. He makes time to come and talk at the support group meetings. He does come and does rounds at weird hours, after my surgery I saw him again at like 10pm at night BUT- I am okay with that, you might not be. I couldn't have been more happier with the decision that I made.

My first meeting with Dr. Iannoli was very positive. He was easy to talk to, made me feel confortable, explained everything very thoroughly, didn't use medical terms I couldn't understand without explaining what they meant. All my contacts with his office staff so far have been good. They are very helpful and patient with my questions. I believe he was honest with his explanations of risks and post-op life.rnrnI had my surgery Aug 5,2009. Dr Iannoli talked to me before the surgery briefly and I saw him later that evening, and daily until he released me. He's kind and easy to talk to. I asked many questions and he patiently answered them, knowing that it was important to me. I overheard him speaking to nurses at the nurses station (across from my room) and he was always polite and respectful. When he saw me the last day, he throughly discussed my discharge orders, directly from the copy I would receive.

My first impression of my surgeon was \"wow he's good looking for a surgeon\"!!(lol) just kidding but no really he seem really knowledgable and put me at ease.Over time my impression has not changed I still feel like I've made a excellent choice by going with him.His office staff well one of the girls are really nice she answers any questions you may have and helpful... now the other one not saying she is not a nice person but she just lacks in a little thin called GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!I must say I have not found anything YET that I did not like about him.If you decide to go with him know all of your questons are going to be answered and your not felt rushed for one moment, during your appt. Overall I rate Dr.Iannoli with a 9 with 10 being the highest , but that just becasue of one of his office assistants. To me I've always been keen on the bed side manner as the first thing I look for in a Doctor that tells alot about them! It's nothing worst to have a doctor operate on you see you in the worst stage of your life and have a terriable attitude.

I was impressed with Dr. Iannoli at the beginning. He made me feel very comfortable. His office staff was and still is friendly. He really emphasizes aftercare, suggest that you find a support group before and after surgery. He makes his patients aware of the risk of surgery. When you have your first appt. with him he talks about the reasons for surgery, he talks about the surgery itself and also discusses the risks. He goes over all of this again when you have your final visit with him. The morning of my surgery, he again asked me if I had any questions, or anything that I needed him to go over with me and my husband. I would rate him a 10 overall. He has a great beside manner and is very competent. This my own personal impression of my surgeon and my own personal experience. Everyones experience is unique to them and their situation.

I was understandably nervous before meeting with Dr. Iannoli, but within a short amount of time he had put me completly at ease. His mannerisms and guidance made my first visit with him a success and gave me confidence in him as a surgeon. As I learn more about him during this process I will happily add to this testimonial.

I had my first of 2 consults with Dr. Iannoli today and he is a knowledgeable, caring doctor that takes time to get to know you as a person and takes his time with his patients. His staff is very friendly and helpful and I have never had such a pleasant experience in a doctors office ever (and I've been to many). I couldn't imagine letting anyone but this doctor do my surgery.
I had my second consult with Dr. Iannoli today and I am confident that he is the perfect surgeon for me. He takes the time to explain the entire procedure even using pictures. My mom went with me and was really nervous and she left very relaxed and at ease. He lays out the entire aftercare followup for you and what is expected and what you need to do so there is no guess work. He takes his time so you can ask any questions you may have and feel comfortable with every aspect of your decission and so your support person is also comfortable with it.

Have had my 1st appt with the doctor (he requires two before scheduling surgery). He is very compassionate, thourogh and understanding. He did not rush me and allowed me to ask any and all questions and I went away feeling comfortable (not like I missed out on anything). His office staff (secretary) was very nice and helpful as well. I was given all the pros and cons and I know this is the right descion for me. I know I will make it to the other side with his help.
Have had my second appt with Dr Iannoli and I am still impressed with his throughness and his caring demenor. I am convinced that this man has my best interests at heart and I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon. Waiting for the insurance approval and then the big day!

I loved Dr. I the first time I met him he was so thorough that I didn't even have any questions when he got done talking to me. His office staff was very friendly and did everthing she said she would do. I would recommend Dr. I to anybody who is serious about wls, he is so very good at what he does. He is so consistent with his care even the nurses at Park Ridge know exactly what he is going to call for. He doesn't waiver very much with his aftercare and wants you to do exactly what he says. He has always kept me informed of all the risks I would and will be taking but he makes you feel so secure with him by your bedside. I saw Dr. I everyday post-op at the hospital and I haev my first appt. with him in 1 week for suture removal. Dr. I is the best in my book and I myself am a nurse and have worked with many of surgeons but Dr. I is above and beyond all of them.

He is laid back, informative of the procedure, associated risks, and outcomes. The office staff was pleasant. He will answer any of your questions, respectfully. He discusses the surgery is really a tool to get you to the aftercare so you can be successful this time. We did not discuss a specific plan because each one is different. He gave the risks to surgery and this surgery specifically. He views this as a very serious surgery comparing it to heart surgery. I rate Dr. Gooden, at this stage, as thorough. We all like to have our cake and eat it too as they say. In the real world, surgical competence is highest priority. Bedside manners are great to have, but I don't depend upon them. I am at first base in my process and there is a long road ahead.
