I was really afraid yet very eager Dr. Pesta was the best. The day of surgery was not a good one for me I was an emotional roller coaster. Everyone who heletped me from the moment I walked through the door made me comfortable. It was finally time to kiss the family and when I looked up there was Dr. Pesta, and the last words I remember is "Nicole you are going to be fine, and it will only get better." I have never looked back only forward since waking up and only in two and a half months my life is already so different. I am forever greatful to Dr. Pesta and the Liv Lite team. Thank You for giving my family me back.

Dr. Pesta made me feel right at hoome form the first appointment. He has always either met my expectations or exceeded them. He and his staff are kind and quick to respond to any questions you may have. There isn't a thing that I don't like about Dr. Pesta. He always has a kind word and a smile on his face. He and his staff definitely make sure that you are taking vitamins and supplements that you can tolerate and stress the importance of taking them. Also, they stress excersize from the get go! LivLite does have a support group and Dr. Pesta highly recommends attending. I, unfortunately, live 2 hours away and cannot attend, so I have joined online support groups. Dr. Pesta took all the time I needed to answer my questions and concerns about WLS. I would highly recommend Dr. Pesta. He and his staff are thorough and kind. Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are fantastic!

I was very impress with Dr. Kole when I first met him. He answered all my questions without hesitation, and I just knew he was the surgeon for me.

My surgery went very well without any problems except for the blood thinner situation. My staple didn't agree with the lovonox and I had to go back to the hospital to get that straighten out. Since that cleared up, I am great.

I thought Dr. Kole staff was good. There is some room for improvement. Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of a dietitian because I had a food question. Cori do supply a manual with all the information in it.

I think new patients should be straight forward and not be afraid to ask all necessary questions especially about aftercare. Cori center do have a aftercare program.

There is always risks with surgery. Dr. Kole and the Cori center will give you a list of possible complications. Make sure, as a patient that you follow special instructions given at pre-op and post op. Always ask questions.

I rate Dr. Kole as a A++. His surgical competence and bedside manner was wonderful for me. I have spoken with other surgeons previously and I found them to be immature and cocky. This is my opinion about Dr. Kole. Others may not agree, but I stand by my opinions about him. Dr. Kole is one of the best doctor I have ever had.

I just met Dr. Pesta at the WLS Liv Lite Seminar 2/1/06. He provided great information and made me feel so comfortable. I have my consult on 2/6/2006. I will write more about Dr. Pest then and I aleady know its going good things he gives such a good vibe. He is such an handsome man who dresses like a million dollars. There is nothing wrong with having a talented, caring and intelligent surgeon who is also good looking!

I am more than happy with my surgeon. The whole team at LivLite and HenryFord BiCounty took very good care of me.

My first impression of Dr Pesta was he looked very young but polished i was impressed by the way he handled our seminar when the film wouldn't work he drew pictures and graphs. Very impressed. His office staff is very friendly and personable they make you feel very comfortable. There was nothing i didn't like about him. He is always available for you before and after surgery.He has very specific before and after care plans depending on you, and your health for instance my Iron was low so he advised an iron for me to take prior to surgery. He also arranges for you to make sure all your meds are covered before you even have surgery so no surprises. He addresses the risks of surgery in a manner which doesn't scare you but makes you very aware of what could but rarely happens. Over all pre-op I think he is great and that i made a wise choice in selecting his office for my surgery.

My first meeting with Dr. Kole was in a room with 5 other people. He came across as very professional yet respectful of each person in the room. He made eye contact with everone during his entire presentation and very calmly explained in graphic detail all of the possible complications up to and including death. He wanted to make certain everyone knew how serious this surgery is and that it is ELECTIVE. Following the meeting he had individual meetings. My advice to anyone going for their consultation is to get there early as he does the individual meetings in the order you arrive- . I was glad to have received this information from a friend prior to the meeting. Whew.
I felt like I had known Dr, Kole for a long time - it was that type of feeling. Overall I would say he is calm and steady. I'll have more to say in 9 days!

I met Dr. Pesta on November 28th 2005. There was an ease with him. He assured he could help; me but cautioned me regarding what difficulties I may have given my specufic condition. He is requiring certain test to en sure the best result.
My main concern with dealing with this surgeon is that I'm dan only have limited after-care because I'm a Canadian resident and he patices in the US.

My first impression of Dr Marshall was that he was wonderful, funny and very knowledgable and sure knows his business,,,,,asl time went on I only confirmed all that to be true and more, He is the BEST. I love him, I would never recommend anyone else, He's kind, patient , caring, always has time for you no matter how busy he is andddddd on top of all that hes good,good good doctor, His staff is excellent and Ive never been in the hospital on a unit where EVERYONE is so so nice,,,,they care, their helpful, and Dr Marshall insist every one be very friendly and curteous, it is wonderful on the bariatric unit at henry ford hospital where Dr marshall does his thing,,,,,,,AND AFTER ALL THAT, He also does all his own tummy tucks and all that, and if there are complications, bowel no matter what, he does it all.......HE IS JUST FABULOUS.............Im sorry the only thing negative I can say is its a ways to drive if you dont live near Detroit, If you dont believe thats all bad I can say, go to his web site and you'll see all the testemonials are the same way,,,,,,Hes unbelievable

my first impression of him was that he was so professional and kind.it has never changed.his office staff has been awesome to me .there is anything i did not like about him.he is kind hearted and you can tell he enjoys helping his patients.he asks that you keep all the appointments that are made.yes he does he lets you know that he would like you to attend the meetings.he showed me a diagram of my body inside and went throught the procedure carefully and asked me if i had any questions.i would rate him at 100% he is awesome and i am very happy with what he did ,he has showed me nothing but excellent care,his incision is fluwless.he is fantastic i don't know what else i could say except that i am so happy i went with him as my doctor.
