I choose Dr. Fernandez for RNY. Originally, I had another surgeon in mind I went to that surgeon's seminar which was very brief and to the point. I did not feel a connection with him. I was not convinced and started having second thoughts. A few months later I was referred to Dr Fernandez by a friend. I attended his informational seminar. From the moment I got there I was impressed and confident in his skills. This man truly care for his patient. I learned in more detail about the lap band and RNY. It was very informative and providing all the information I needed to decide which procedures I wanted. Dr. Fernandez welcomed questions. I've heard only good remarks about him and look forward to my next step in WLS.
I went to his seminar on January 24, 2008 and I knew from the minute he started to speak that I wanted him to be my surgeon. You can just tell that he knows what he is talking about and has a great bedside manner. After the seminar when his Bariatric Coordinator was talking to people he stuck around and answered any questions that I may have. I have my official consultation with him on Feb. 4th.
A very kind, funny person. When you go to the seminars you feel secure. Everything is explained clear and simple. I felt he was the trusty doctor,an very capable in his field. I also referred my sister Sandra to him and she is having surgery too! He has a nice staff, that answers your questions and seminars for new people and for the post op patients, where his patiens talk with him and he answers all kind of questions. He is the very best, I love him, I pray God for his talents.
del doctor fernandez me impresiono su amabilldad y la segurida de su experiencia cuando voy a su consulta siento que visito un viejo amigo casi un complice siempre tiene una sonrisa amable y transmite un apoyo total en su comprencion a las inseguridades que enfrentamos a traves de todo el proceso pienso que fue un gran hacierto haberme puesto en sus manos ya que no he tenido absolutamente ninguna complicacion si le fuera a recomendar a alguien esta operacion difinitivamente la llevaria de la mano hasta el consultorio del doctor fernandez igual con las chicas de la oficina son muy competentes y compresivas
When I first met Dr Fernandez I thought he was amazing. He was willing to answer all my questions and at the same time he made me feel very comfortable. Lisa, his office staff, was very helpful...No matter how many times I called and bugged her :). Dr Fernandez made it a point to make me feel very comfortable and gave me that \"I care about you\" feeling that you just dont see from most Dr's now a days.
HE IS AWSOME, HE MAKES YOU FEEL THAT HE CARE FOR YOU, THE STAFF WAS GREAT, HIS PERSONALITY , GREAT PERSON!
Dr Fernandez is an Angel in plain clothes. He makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the office with him. He has a very soft and caring beside mannor. You can tell that he loves what he does. The love for his job just spills over to his patients. I would highly recommend Dr Fernandes. Although I am the 3rd family member to use him, I would recommend him to anyone asking about WLS. rnDr Fernandez is the best....He gets a 10.
The only thing better than his ability is his beside manor. Dr. Fernandez and his staff really care about each of their patients. We are a family and his dedication to his patients is outstanding. The best doctor ever and I had virtually no pain and never any complications! Thank you Dr. Fernandez for saving my life!rn
