Dr. Chua is a very nice man.
I think I will be in good hands with him. Everything is going smoothly. Initially it was a lot of running around getting the right stuff from the right people, but it was worth it. I'm so glad I didn't give up!

When I first met Dr Chua, I thought he was extremely caring. He was very thorough in explaining all of the bariatric procedures and he had an answer for all of my questions.

His staff is really cool. They are helpful and willing to point you in the right direction if you need additional help.

Dr. Chua is a quiet but sweet man. He does alot of surgeries but I feel he is the most qualified for what I'm looking for.

The first time I met Dr. Chua was at his seminar. He didn't seem too friendly although I can understand it was a long day for him considering that this was 9 p.m. the first time I spoke with him. When i went to the consultation with him, he was nice. he's very quiet but he answers your questions.

I met with Dr. Chua on 8/18/03. He is a very kind man and really listened to and answered all my questions. Didn't have to wait long in the waititng room before I saw him - I was owrried about that becuase of other posts I had read. Now the game plan is to submit all my paperwork to Humana and wait for the approval (I hope) or denial...... Dr. Chua said it should take about 1 month.

I met with Dr. Chua August 11, '03. He answered my 2 pages of questions and took his time to explain the Lap-Band procedure. My first impression was that he is very competent and I still feel this way.

Dr. Chua was very professional and very easy to talk to. He explained everything very well.

Dr. Chua's staff have been very helpful and nice to work with. I would reccommend him to anyone considering this surgery.

I am waiting to hear if I've been approved by insurance. Hopefully soon!

I met with the surgeon on the 3rd of July, 2003. Dr. Chua is very compassionate and understanding, his staff is also. He recommended the open rny-distal, because of my size and eating habits, explained the procedure, the risks and the benefits of getting prepared for the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Chua to anyone that needs a good surgeon in the milwaukee area.

UPDATE 5/2003 I had my consult with Dr. C on 5/8/2003. It went very well. He is very kind and patient. We agreed that the RNY is for me. Now I just have to wait to see if the Ins Co will approve the surgery.

02/2003 I have not met Dr. Chua yet, but I did attend the seminar that he holds every month.
He seems warm, friendly and has a nice sense of humor. My bestfriend just had a RNY by Dr. C on 1/31/03 and is doing great. She did extensive research into this proceedure and felt he was exceptionally qualified.

I met Dr. Chua at his seminar in december, and I must say I was impressed with his knowledge and manner.

Today, Feb. 20th, 2002 I had my first appointment with him. I was even more impressed, he is soooo nice. The office staff is nice, but the wait was quiet long. My appointment was scheduled for 11:20 and I wasn't seen until Almost noon. But that is ok, it was worth the wait. He answered all my questions and asked me some and agreed with me that the Lap-band will be the best route for me.
I now have to wait for insurance approval.
