Dr. Cribbins was great! His bariatric coordinator was wonderful also. I felt so at ease with him. He has a great bedside manner. He never seems rushed and genuinely cares about you. The program and nutritionist at Presby Plano are great. He is the surgeon to go with!!!

I've only seen Dr. Cribbons twice. The first meeting was a seminar. I was very impressed and felt confident. The second was my initial office visit and VGS was set up for Oct. 25. The meeting was very short, but I could not think of more questions to ask. I'll write more as I know more.rnrn6-12-2008rnWell, I am finally updating my surgeon's report. Dr. Cribbins is wonderful. I had my VSG on Oct. 25, 2007 and all has gone very well. He did an excellent job and I have had no complications. The vast majority of his patients are lap banders, but I believe that will change as the insurance companies come on board with the VSG. He is very warm and friendly and always sets me at ease. He does not volunteer tons of information, but he does answer any and all questions so be prepared to ask. I am especially impressed with his twice monthly support group which he attends (unless he is on call and has been called). His poor family must never see him. I have talked to many of his patients, many nurses, and several other doctors and everyone has had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cribbins. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Cribbins is a wonderful doctor! He is so patient and kind. Always understanding and attentive. His staff are great, too. They are very receptive and patient. They are an excellent team! rnDr. Cribbins answered all my questions and was upfront about any risks. I had a hietal hernia that had to be repaired during the surgery. He was very complete in explaining risks and possibilities. Everything went great! On a scale of 1 to 10, Dr. Cribbins is definitely a 10.

Dr. Cribbins appeared to be very knowledgable and caring from the first appointment on through post-op appointments. The staff is very helpful, and returned calls quickly. There really hasn't been much of an after care program, but maybe that's because I breezed through the surgery, had no problems whatsoever. I think the nutritionist part of his program could improve. They really don't have a specific diet for VSG, just use the lap band guidelines for food consumption. rnDr. Cribbins has great bedside manner, and is very competent as a surgeon. Both traits are important!

Dr Cribbens saved my life. I had surgery and he noticed I had cancer of the appendix. After making sure of my illness he pointed me to other doctors who are treating me and have said since the cancer was found so soon, I should have a long life. I trust the man.

Dr. Cribbins is the second bariatric surgeon my husband and I have dealt with this year, and our experience between the two has been like night and day. rnrnThe first doctor's idea of a pre-op consultation was to show us a video we think was intended to teach surgeons how to do the lap band. He never spoke to us about our medical history and didn't seem to want to take the time to answer questions. When there was an issue with my husband's chest x-ray during his pre-op (they found a tumor), he didn't call us back for two days to let us know what the CT scan's results were. We decided at that time to find someone else.rnrnWhen my husband had his tumor removed at Plano Presby, Dr. Cribbins was recommended to us by our thoracic surgeon, our pulmonoligist/intensivist, and even the nurse who did his pre-op checkup (she was a Cribbins patient herself.) rnrnDr. Cribbins is the exact opposite of the first guy. He sat down with us and took his time to answer our questions. He always shakes your hand when he comes into the room, and he looks you in the eye when he talks to you. Dr. Cribbins is both a skilled surgeon and a caring man.

My first impression was, WOW! He is so young. Then he started talking about how this surgery would work and he made me feel at complete ease. That let me know that I was going to be in good hands. He was so extremely nice and very easy going. He has a very confident manner. I have no worries about Dr. Cribbins. The staff is well informed and seemed to be excited for me. I really liked the enthusiasm in Sheryls voice when we spoke on the phone planning my surgery date. I am confident in choosing Dr. Cribbins. I did my research far before making an appointment with him. I looked him up online and even read a few articles about him in a local magazine. All good reviews. As everyone knows no one is perfect but I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Cribbins or his staff. I would recommend him to anyone considering to have wls.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Cribbins and his entire staff. From the first phone call I made to the facility, I received nothing but first rate care from everyone from the insurance associate, receptionist, nurse, assistant and Dr. Cribbins himself. On a scale of 1-10 I rate Dr. Cribbins a 10!

My first impression of Dr. Cribbins was the same as the other women, \"WOW, He's hot!\" and then I got to talk to him and he was very calming. I feel very comfortable when talking to him and he listens to what you are saying and doesnt just hear you. I love the office staff in his office, they have always been very sweet and caring. As did the Hospital staff. I cant say there is anything I didnt like about either. rnIf you are looking for a doctor who truly cares Dr. Cribbins is the one to go to. My aftercare was great, I feel better and better each time I go. With my sugery I had to be put on a 2 week diet and he explained to me the importance of the liver being as small as possible. I dont think there is a number large enough to rate Dr. Cribbins.
